Welcome to Kayla Watches Movies: Behind the Scenes!

My name is Kayla and I am a university student who loves to paint and watch movies on my spare time! My favorite art medium is acrylic paint and my favorite movie snack are any kind of Maynard gummies.

Some of my favorite movies are A Fish Called Wanda, A Mighty Wind, Reservoir Dogs, For Your Consideration and What About Bob?. The Christopher Guest mockumentaires are my comfort movies and I also love watching heist and spy movies! I also have an obsession for films that are about the film industry!

I also watch some tv shows (I'm a slow binger but I do try to watch a series once every often). My favorite shows are The Office (U.S.), Arrested Development and Schitt's Creek (I'm also a big fan of Catherine O'Hara!)

I have created this blog to help promote my small business- Kayla Watches Movies- where I create paintings and enamel pins of my favorite characters and scenes from movies and television. 

On this blog, I'll talk about some of my paintings and art and also my journey of being a small business owner.
